ဖတ္မိတာေလးေတြ (အဆက္ - ၃)

ဒီတခါေတာ့ ဗမာ့သမိုင္းမဟုတ္ေပမဲ့ ဗမာေတြနဲ႔ေတာ့ နည္းနည္းဆိုင္တာေလးေတြ ေျပာရပါအံုးမယ္။ ကဲ သြားလိုက္ၾကအံုးစို႔ ဆင္ျဖဴရွင္မင္းတရားႀကီးဆီ။

အယုဒၶယဟာ ၁၇၆၇ ဧပရယ္ ၈ ရက္မွာ ဗမာလက္ေအာက္ က်ပါတယ္။ အားလံုးသိၿပီးက်တဲ့ အတိုင္း စစ္ႏိုင္သူ ဗမာေတြရဲ႕ အႀကီးအက်ယ္ ေမႊေႏွာက္ ဖ်က္ဆီးမႈခံရတယ္ေပါ့။ စာမ်က္ႏွာ ၃၃၃ မွာ အခုလိုေရးထားပါတယ္။

အိမ္ေတြ၊ ဘုန္းႀကီးေက်ာင္းေတြ၊ နန္းေတာ္ အေဆာက္အအံုေတြ မီးေလာင္တိုက္သြင္း ခံရသလို၊ ေရႊေငြ ရတနာေတြ၊ အဖိုးတန္ပစၥည္းေတြ အတင္းျပခိုင္းၿပီး အလုလည္းခံရတယ္။ ဒါတင္အားမရပဲ လူေတြေရာ၊ ဘုန္းႀကီးေတြပါသတ္တဲ့အျပင္ မုဒိန္းမႈေတြလည္း ျဖစ္သေပါ့ (ခုေတာ့ ယိုးဒယားမတိုက္ႏိုင္လို႔ ကိုယ့္လူမ်ဳိးျခင္းပဲ ဒါေတြ လုပ္ေနေလရဲ႕)။ နန္းေတာ္ထဲက ေရႊေငြ၊ ေက်ာက္သံပတၱျမားေတြ ႀကိဳက္သလို ေမႊယူၾကၿပီး ဗုဒၶေရႊဆင္းတု၊ ေငြဆင္းတုေတြ ကိုအရည္က်ဳိၿပီး ေရႊေတြ ေငြေတြ ယူၾကေသးတယ္။ (မႏၲေလး မဟာျမတ္မုနိဘုရားႀကီး ဘာလို႔မ်ား ဗိုက္ေဖာက္ခံရပါလိမ့္ေနာ္)

ထားေတာ့။ ဆက္ေရးရင္ သိပ္ရွည္ေနမယ္။ တရုပ္ရန္ ထလာလို႔ ဗမာတပ္ေတြဟာ ဇြန္လ ၁၇၆၇ မွာ အယုဒၶယကေန ခြာလာခဲ့တယ္။ ၁၇၆၇ ႏို၀င္ဘာ ၆ မွာ လက္က်န္ ဗမာခံတပ္ေခ်မႈန္းခံရၿပီး အယုဒၶယျပန္လည္ လြတ္ေျမာက္ပါသတဲ့။

ဒီမွာ ဗဟုသုတ သိေစခ်င္တာေလးေတြ ေတြ႕ပါေတာ့တယ္။ က်ေနာ္ တသက္လံုးထင္ခဲ့တာက လက္ရိွ အယုဒၶယဟာ က်ေနာ္တို႔ ဗမာေတြ ဖ်က္ဆီးခဲ့တာ၊ အားလံုး ဗမာလက္ခ်က္လို႔ ယူဆခဲ့တာပါ။ အဲ.. အကုန္မဟုတ္ပါဘူးဗ်ာ။ ေအာက္မွာ ကူးထားတာကို ဖတ္ၾကပါ။


“According to the report of Mr.Corre, the French missionary who arrived in Dhonburi in 1767, he mentioned that dearth caused people to melt down Buddha statues for gold and silver. “

“The Chinese, and even the Siamese, not being able to sustain their subsistence by hard work, turned towards the temples. The Siamese, in accordance with their beliefs, had buried immense sums of gold and silver in the statues. They found them in the head, in the chest, under the feet, and especially in the pagodas.”

“The temples became ovens where people melted the statues for brass and copper.”

Mr.Corre said in a letter dated 1 November 1769 :
“Last year, and even this year, the Chinese and the Siamese had no other occupation except to destroy the statues and the pagodas.”

“I was already back in Siam when the Chinese have destroyed Wat Phu Thai, that great pagoda which is near to the seminary. They have found three enough gold to load three boats. In the temples of the Priest-King, Wat Padu, they have found up to five jars of silver, and also in other wats according to proportion.

The pitiful state to which the temples have been reduced could not be said to be better than the picture of our ovens. The walls are entirely pitch-black, the paved floor covered with charcoal and broken bits of Buddha statues.”

ဒီေလာက္ဆို မွန္းလုိ႔ ရပါၿပီေနာ္။ ၁၇၆၇ ကေန ၁၇၆၉ အထိမွာ အယုဒၶယက ဘုရားေတြ ဆင္းတုေတြ (ဗမာေတြ မဖ်က္ဆီးခဲ့တာေတြေပါ့ေလ) တရုပ္ေတြနဲ႔ အယုဒၶယသားေတြ ကိုယ္တိုင္ ဖ်က္ခဲ့ၾကတာကိုး (ဘယ္လို အေၾကာင္းေၾကာင့္ပဲ ျဖစ္ျဖစ္ေပါ့)။ ဒါေလး ဖတ္ၿပီး နည္းနည္းေတာ့ စိတ္သက္သာသြားသလိုပဲ။ ၂ ႏွစ္ႀကီးမ်ားေတာင္ အားရပါးရ ဖ်က္ၾကတယ္ဆိုေတာ့ ဗမာတပ္ေတြဟာ ေစတီ ပုထုိးေတြကို သိပ္မဖ်က္ခဲ့ၾကဘူးလို႔ ယူဆရမွာပါ။ ခုဆို က်ေနာ္ဟာ အယုဒၶယအတြက္ အားနာစရာ၊ စိတ္မသန္႔ ျဖစ္ရတာ ေတာ္ေတာ္ေတာ့ သက္သာသြားသေပါ့။ ဒါေပမယ့္လည္းေပါ့ေလ ဆိုးတာေတာ့ ဆိုးခဲ့ၾကပါတယ္။ (တခ်ဳိ႕ကေတာ့လည္း ဘုန္းမီးေနလ ေတာက္ပခဲ့တယ္လို႔ သံုးၾကသေပါ့။ မွတ္ၾကပါ၊ မွတ္ၾကပါ။ သူမ်ားကို ကၽြန္ျပဳတာ မဟုတ္ပါဘူး။)
