ေပးႏိုင္တာေလးေတြ၊ ေျပာခ်င္တာေလးေတြ

Hi Ko Generation96, Can you remove all the blogger's links, and associated mentionings within this post? As your blog is very political, we are afraid of the consequences. We have already voiced our feelings in the blogs so I think that is quite fair and enough. (It is even more than enough compared to more than 100 of silent Myanmar bloggers). We know you are doing good but we can't afford or risks the danger as most of us are blogging with real identities and real names, Not using pseudonyms. We also think this is end October so the post has already served its intention to wish Ko Min Ko Naing's birthday. Many people has already read this post. So its better not to archive it as it includes many non-political citizen bloggers.Hope you understand. Thank you.

Hi, generation 96,

If you dont mind, I would like to comment on this matter. I have followed your blog since the first few posts. I am the one who discussed about factual in-accuracies in recent comments. Since I have been reading all the developments regarding these particular posts and links, I have to tell you this. When you try to convince Myanmar people (or any other bloggers) about bravery, sacrifice or support, you will have to be brave first. It is a simple logic. Practice what you preach. When you are behind nicknames such as (generation96) or 7monkeys, Yaun60 etc, etc, how can you successfully convince them to be brave?

When someone requested you to remove the links; you should have oblidged. I do not know how many of them have let you use their posts, but you said you have put the links before their permissions. This is also another ethical issue. Instead of accepting the responsibility, you again raised another post on this and make things getting bigger without any concerns on them. If you do not have any concerns for other Myanmar bloggers, how can we believe that you guys have any concerns for the rest of the Myanmar people? Is it because these 5 bloggers are not big enough to deserve your concern? They should be sacrificed for the rest of the people? Who made the choice? You? or them?

If you guys are internet savvy, you will notice an adult Myanmar forum discussing politics and issues regarding how far the extent of these discussions should go. Political consciousness is good but there are moral and ethical grounds that you cannot break. Simply saying; You should not endanger OTHERS. You should not harm those people. Sacrifice, bravery, freedom from fear etc are all individual choices. Campaigning them to be brave will be fruitful but while doing this, you cannot be hiding behind nicknames.

Currently there are many groups claiming to be 8888 student generationsetc etc. Everyone can do that. But they won\\\'t get any respect because what they used is just some shadows of the past. Min Ko Naing received many support because he and his fellows carried their past to the present. If you guys are willing to fight for freedom, do it openly and you will receive many respect and will have significant Impact on the freedom movement. (Real names doesnt matter for government intelligence activities, they might already know who you guys are by now. What I am talking about is to convince the people to be brave.)

This is just my Input on this matter. I am not trying to preach you or teach you or debating. I respect all of the generation 96 students as well as other senior students. After all, I am one of you.

PS: There are recent happenings within blogger community. Chinese govt jailed several bloggers. There are rumours running fast that Myanmar bloggers are under surveilance too. (Check a Myanmar blog which the name start with two numbers. But it was not spelled with the number like 7monkeys. Instead it spells similar to Sevenblahblahblah. I will not write the url here because I am concerned for his/her safety.)

\\\'Hope you understand\\\'. Take care.

Dear,
I Had (Had) their permissions. You didn’t seem to read all or you didn’t seem to get the full picture. Do not misinterpret what I wanted to say. And please do not blindly dishonor others by saying “they won’t get any respect” because many of us do. Other than that I would not need to explain. You have your right to voice out. This is democracy.
Thank you for reading by the way.
